The human hand has been a symbol of power, protection, and destiny for millennia. In the ancient world, the Hamsa or Hand of Fatima was used to ward off the evil eye and bring blessings. In the medieval period, the Hand of Glory—a legendary (and macabre) charm—was said to hold the power to unlock any door and freeze others in their tracks.  

In the tradition of Palmistry (Chiromancy), each finger is governed by a celestial body, representing different facets of the human experience. Our "Hand of Fate" draws upon this alchemical lore, turning the hand into a spiritual antenna that broadcasts your intentions into the ether through the medium of flame.

The Master Petition: Write five distinct wishes on five small slips of parchment. Place each slip under the base of the candle, aligned with the corresponding finger. As you light each wick, visualize that specific wish "taking flight" through the smoke.

Anointing the Palm: Use our Ritual Anointing Oil or Juju Oil to "dress" the palm of the hand before lighting. By "greasing the palm," you are symbolically easing the path for your fate to manifest without friction.

The Circle of Protection: Surround the base of the hand with our Goofer Protection Barrier or Rock Salt. This ensures that as your "hand" reaches out to change your destiny, your current foundations remain secure and shielded from outside interference.

Shadow Integration: Light only the Saturn (middle) finger during the Dark Moon to work on internal discipline and the "holding" of secrets.
