Unlike our complex Spellcraft Salt (which includes iron and ash), this duo is focused purely on the synergy between Earth and Fire. It is a dark, matte-black grain that acts as a "spiritual sponge," designed for practitioners who need a high-surface-area medium for trapping, grounding, and neutralizing unwanted vibrations.

A History of the Blackened Grain

The history of mixing carbon with salt is a tale of both survival and spirit. Historically, "black salts" were used in various cultures for their detoxifying properties—the charcoal was known to pull toxins from the body, while the salt preserved life.

In folk magic traditions of the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, charcoal was often added to salt to "blind" or "mask" a ritual.
